Elegant ashtray or catchall in Bone China porcelain designed by Paloma Picasso for Villeroy & Boch, model "Hongkong" circa 1990. A very beautiful graphic piece in shades of green, deep blue, and gold, adorned in its centre with a stylised mythical animal. The geometric decor and characteristic colours make it a very attractive decorative object, equally interesting as an ashtray or a catchall. Signature Paloma Picasso – Bone China – Hongkong – Villeroy & Boch – Germany underneath the piece. In perfect overall condition, original Villeroy & Boch box present. A decorative collector's item and particularly representative of Paloma Picasso's creations for Villeroy & Boch.
