Vintage Marcel Gascoin wardrobe, Arhec edition 1950

Straight out of the Hôtel Royal on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, this large Marcel Gascoin wardrobe for Arhec is exceptional. Immediately recognizable thanks to its long handles found on Marcel Gascoin's AA wardrobe, it is made of wood and dates from the 1950s. It offers an astonishing storage capacity. This large vintage linen storage unit is broken down as follows: - two large doors that close with magnets and lock. - On the left side: 4 shelves (not height adjustable) and 4 drawers, the last of which is higher and has a wooden handle. - On the right side: 3 shelves (not height adjustable), 1 space with wooden rods for storing shoes, a removable wooden laundry basket in the lower part. Fully cleaned, nourished and treated, this piece of furniture is perfectly sound and immediately usable as is. In very good condition, the wood is not scratched and the entire interior is clean. Stable, robust and functional, it is of a remarkable size and will be perfect for a large bedroom for example. A letterhead from the Royal Hotel of Nice with an inventory from April 16, 1956 was taped to the inside of a door. Note that the furniture is completely dismountable.
