Large antique plate in floral slip with hand-painted relief decoration

Charming large antique earthenware plate with barbotine decoration, adorned with hand-painted raised flowers. Its intense raspberry background enhanced with touches of gold highlights the delicately worked plant motif. A charming piece, which captures all the freshness and liveliness of the floral decorations of the 1930s–1950s. Unmarked on the reverse, but typical of French barbotine production from this period. It is distinguished by its deep color, its shiny enamel and its very decorative reliefs. Diameter 29 cm. Good condition, slight patina of age, gold border a little faded in places, a mini chip next to a flower and three on the edge (see photos). Perfect as a decorative wall plate, as a centerpiece or to complete a vintage barbotine collection. A colorful and expressive piece, in the spirit of cottagecore and bohemian chic decor.
