Mid-Century Graphic Standing Ashtray

This 50s/60s ashtray looks like it was pulled from an episode of mad men, where don draper could have used it between two scathing one-liners and a sip of whiskey. And that base! It looks like it was designed by a nasa engineer who mistook an ashtray for a rocket. It's as if it were ready to take off at any moment, carrying with it the remnants of animated conversations and smoky evenings. We love its eiffel tower look... Metal, bakelite, plexiglas, the mix of materials matches perfectly. It's in very good condition. The burgundy push-button ashtray looks almost new. The gilding on the base is almost gone, but that doesn't detract from its sublime silhouette. The color of the metal even better matches that of the ashtray.
