Low chair Charles Dudouyt (1885-1946)

Superb low chair in solid wood with a woven straw seat attributed to Charles Dudouyt. Its thick turned legs, robust proportions, and minimalist backrest evoke the work of the French designer Charles Dudouyt, an emblematic figure of 20th-century modern rustic furniture, particularly from the 1940s. This fireside chair combines sculptural character with artisanal authenticity. The woven straw seat adds a natural texture. The structure is sturdy and in good condition, while the seat shows signs of wear but remains functional (see photos). An element that will define the identity of the room in which it is placed.
