Large vintage soup tureen Digoin Sarreguemines – Brown and blue floral decoration

A soup tureen that dares to be colourful. This large Digoin Sarreguemines soup tureen charms with its generous floral decoration, where an immense rust-brown flower blooms among deep blue leaves. An unusual pattern that adds a lot of personality to a table or kitchen decor. Its beautiful dimensions allow it to be used for serving soups, stews, or casseroles, but it will also make a statement as a centrepiece or a simple decorative object. A piece full of character that differs from more classic floral designs and tells another facet of French ceramics from the 1970s. Diameter (excluding handles): 26 cm. Height of the soup tureen: 12 cm. Total height with lid: 21 cm. Weight: 2.663 kg. Glazed earthenware. Condition: good vintage condition. Minor signs of use, including some chips and marks on the lid's knob as well as slight signs of use inside.
