Aloys Gangkofner for Erco Diamond hanging lamp

Original 70's ceiling ball lamp according to a design by Aloys F. Gangkofner the manufacturer Erco Lüdenscheid. Gangkofner was one of Wagenfeld's most successful designers for lamps and glass in Germany in the 50s and 70s. He also designed many designer lamps for Peill and Putzler. With the plastic luminaires for Erco, he broke new technical ground. Material: plastic, opaline plexiglas. Diameter: approx. 35 cm | 13.77 inch. Height: approx 30 cm | 11.81 inch. Weight: 1,22 kg. Very good condition and fully functional. Since there are different electrical conditions in each country, I would recommend to have the lamp connected by an electrician.
