Boris Tabacoff, the forgotten French Seventies designer

Boris Tabacoff is a French designer active in the 1970s, whose production of lacquered and chromed furniture embodies the spirit of luxurious Parisian design of the time. Closely linked to Mobilier Modulaire Moderne (MMM) and Christian Adam, he signed coffee tables, consoles and mirrors where deep lacquer meets chromed metal structures and smoked glass tops. A confidential production, at the crossroads of Pierre Vandel and Maison Jansen, whose pieces are today rediscovered by lovers of high-end French Seventies.

Boris Tabacoff coffee tables and consoles, in lacquer and chrome with smoked glass tops, remain the designer's most identifiable pieces. French vintage furniture to find for those wanting a rare and refined Parisian Seventies signature.
