Art Deco side table in walnut with shelf, 1930s

Vintage Art Deco side table with 2 levels (with shelf), 1930s. This piece is made of walnut and features a trapezoidal shape. The top has rounded edges and 4 beveled corners; it showcases a beautiful finish in rich dark brown marquetry, while the centre displays a diamond pattern in light brown walnut veneer (see photos). Just below the top, there is a lovely sculpted and curved border, featuring a characteristic pattern of the era (see photos)... The piece rests on long, clean-lined, sculpted legs, typical of the period. The table is in generally good original condition; it shows some old marks, signs of aging, and traces of use over time, as well as period patina and areas of discolouration — all expected elements for a piece nearly 100 years old, visible on the structure, top, lower shelf, and legs (see photos). There are very slight surface irregularities due to age on the top (see photos) and some old woodworm traces on the edge of the lower shelf (see photo), but the piece has been fully treated. The lower shelf has a slight outward curve, some areas of discolouration due to time, and a fine natural crack related to age (see photos). The table has been cleaned, oiled, and waxed in respect of its original patina.
