Runner rug in the style of Henri Matisse 545x75.5 cm

At the end of his life, matisse created monumental compositions in cut-out gouache papers, some of which he intended for ceramic creations. The model of the swimming pool, created in 1952, is one of those masterpieces that mark the painter's last period before his death in nice in 1954. There, he achieved the visual space he was seeking.
