Jean-Paul Riopelle – Original lithograph – 1970 – Framed 42 x 52 cm

Original color lithograph from issue 186 of the magazine Derrière le Miroir, published by Galerie Maeght in May 1970 on the occasion of Jean-Paul Riopelle's solo exhibition. This entirely abstract print presents a richly textured composition, where bluish organic forms, striated gray textures, and calligraphic red lines evoking automatic movement are superimposed. Printed on wove paper, typical of DLM prints, this work is one of three original lithographs in this issue, which has become emblematic of Riopelle's graphic work. Framed with an off-white mat and a thin black frame. Framed dimensions: 42 X 52 cm, image size approx. 29 X 39 cm. Condition: Very good. Fresh colors, clean paper with very slight signs of age. Contemporary frame in excellent condition.
