Large oak bookcase from the 1950s. Standing at 2.50 metres tall and over 2 metres wide, it offers exceptional storage capacity in just 35 cm of depth. Materials: the bookcase is made of oak and oak veneer, with a warm hue and natural grain that highlight the clean lines of the furniture. Features: the upper part of this vintage bookcase is structured into three large sections, each accommodating five adjustable solid oak shelves. The lower part is fully enclosed by six doors and provides significant additional storage volume with two shelves per cupboard, also adjustable in height using a rail system. Its very simple and functional design, characteristic of 1950s furniture, allows for almost the entire surface of the piece to be dedicated to storage. Despite its imposing dimensions, its depth of only 35 cm gives it a light silhouette. Renovation: the bookcase has been completely sanded, then washed, and finally protected with a clear matte varnish that enhances the beautiful patina of the wood. Dimensions: L208.5 X D35 X H249.5. Upper part: L205.5 X D20.5 X H169.5. Width of each alcove: 66.5. Lower part: L208.5 X D35 X H80. Cupboards: L66.5 X D29.5 X H72. A vintage bookcase with imposing proportions, combining the warmth of oak, remarkable storage capacity, and the clean lines of mid-century furniture. Note: the lower part of the bookcase is not dismountable. The upper part will need to be completely disassembled for transport. Each of its elements will be labelled, and detailed image instructions will be sent to assist with reassembly.
