Art Deco, upholstered daybed in lambswool, Danish cabinetmaker, 1930s.

Sculptural Scandinavian daybed or chaise longue in Art Deco style. The piece is characterised by its elegant asymmetrical silhouette with a slightly raised backrest at one end. Made by an experienced Danish cabinetmaker in the 1930s. The frame is made of oak and features a rectangular base with sculpted legs. The daybed has been recently upholstered in soft honey-coloured lambswool, giving the piece a warm and luxurious texture while highlighting its sculptural form. The uniqueness of this model lies in the fact that the upholstered daybed can be removed from the outer frame, allowing it to rest independently on four slender legs.
