Daybed by Josef Albers / TYP

Daybed designed by Josef Albers in 1930 and reissued by TYP in collaboration with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation. Originally designed during Albers’ Bauhaus period, the daybed reflects his approach to simple geometric forms and functional construction. TYP brought the design back into production as part of its collection of historically significant designs, making the original 1930 design available in a contemporary edition. The piece combines a clean wooden frame with upholstered cushions, creating a versatile form that works both as a sofa and a daybed.
