Oak Bookcase by Børge Mogensen for Karl Andersson & söner. Sweden, 1960s

A classic Borge Mogensen oak bookcase. This high quality made Scandinavian classic is composed of two parts - the underside cabinet with internal shelving and smoothly sliding doors and a bookcase with six fully adjustable 30cm deep shelves. In structurally good condition - there is some discolouration as is normal on oak furniture from age and use, that only adds to the items charm. There are a few small holes that were previously used to either screw the back to the wall or feed electric cable through. The manufacturers label is visible at the back.
