Individual butter dish RG Montigny Limoges

Magnificent individual butter dish (or condiment bowl) in genuine Limoges porcelain. This type of refined set became particularly popular from the mid-20th century (around the 1950s). The model is shaped like a scallop shell in relief. The inside of the shell and the finishes of the knife handle are covered in fine gold gilding. The underside of the bowl and the matching knife handle feature a green enamel that contrasts beautifully with the gold. The set is complete in its original presentation case. The set is new and shows very slight signs of wear, particularly on the case. There is a slight play in the knife. Bowl dimensions: 12x12x1 cm.
