Magnificent vintage ceramic bowl. Free-form tripod shape (with three legs, two tapered legs and one leg that is the conical base of the bowl) very well balanced, beautiful ochre brown glazing with concentric cream white and green decoration, green borders on the edges, repeated on the feet. Authentic work by Gabriel Fourmaintraux (Desvres, France), signed underneath with his initials, from the 1950s or 60s. The shape is listed as part of his production but the decoration is very uncommon. Maximum length approximately 16.5 cm, maximum width approximately 12.3 cm, maximum height at the highest edge 7.5 cm, height at the lowest edge 4.5 cm. Small vintage bowl (20th century around 1950-1960), made in France, of high quality and in very good condition. No cracks, chips or major defects, slight signs of use, tiny traces of rubbing and micro-scratches on the glaze that are very hard to see. See detailed zoomed photos, which are contractual and complementary to the description.
