Antique Norman oak sideboard – 19th century

For sale: authentic antique Norman oak dresser, in two parts. Very beautiful family piece of character, originating from Ardevon, in Manche, near Mont-Saint-Michel. Made of solid oak, traditionally and artisanally crafted, featuring a lovely old patina. It consists of two parts: * Lower part: 3 drawers and 2 doors; * Upper part: display area with plate racks and 2 glass doors. The construction, joinery, and materials are characteristic of old country furniture. Traditional joinery and irregularities that testify to artisanal manufacturing can be found. The piece shows a beautiful patina and signs of use related to its age, which fully contribute to its authenticity and charm. It has not been modernised to preserve its old appearance.
