Pair of Louis XVI style wall lights - Lucien GAU, Paris

Pair of louis XVI style sconces, from the famous french bronzier: lucien gau. Manufacturer from faubourg saint antoine, in paris. Manufactured in the second half of the 20th century. Bronze construction. Original gilding and patina, good condition; note, patina scratches on the sconces and under the cups (see the numerous photos). Decorated with ribbons, pearls and foliage. They are electrified and tested (for e14 bulb). Plastic candles, very good condition. They are signed on the back: lg, for lucien gau (see last photo).
