The model 207 desk, designed by Arne Vodder and manufactured by Sibast, is one of the most refined Danish designs of its time. The wide, finely crafted teak top is framed on the sides by gently sloping edges and rests on an open structure with slender, slightly tapered legs. The recessed drawer units give the large desk a light and balanced appearance despite its size. The warm grain of the teak is particularly highlighted on the large work surface. The drawers arranged on both sides offer plenty of storage space, with several compartments of varying heights. The small wooden handles and the visible dovetail joints on the drawers are particularly noteworthy. The back of the desk is also entirely made of wood and carefully finished, allowing it to be placed freely in the room. A very carefully crafted piece of furniture, whose quality is reflected in every detail of its construction. The desk is in very good restored condition, with only slight signs of age-related wear on the surfaces.
