Folding rocking footrest in wood and white leather

Folding and reclining footrest sometimes referred to as a footstool or reading stool or occasional piece from the 19th or early 20th century, often associated with the Napoleon III or Country styles. It is placed in front of an armchair. Its folding rocking design allowed for the adjustment of the angle to relieve the legs while reading. The structure is made of solid wood, probably beech or stained fruitwood, with a slatted footrest and a padded upper part, here covered in white/cream faux leather with studs. It folds completely flat, making it ideal for storage or transport during travel. Width 50, depth 33, height 34, folded 57x15.
