Small Marquetry Living Room Table, Louis XV / Louis XVI Transition style – 1920

Small oval table in mahogany and rosewood marquetry, equipped with a belt drawer and a spacer shelf. The top is decorated with a rosewood veneer forming cubes, surrounded by a strip of light wood and a contrasting outline. The belt of this small piece of furniture is formed of chevrons and has a drawer opening with a chiseled button. The intermediate top has the same configuration as the table top. The curved legs are made of mahogany and taper towards the bottom. ******* period: 1920 excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. Waxed finish on hard base.
