Porcelain plate Compagnie des Indes Qianlong period, 18th century

Beautiful antique plate made of fine Chinese porcelain from the East India Company, Qianlong period (1736-1795). Typical underglaze blue decoration: central scene of a Chinese garden landscape with trellis, hanging foliage, flowers, and stylised elements. The rim is adorned with a continuous ribbon of fruit clusters, leaves, and floral motifs. Brown border from the period. Diameter: 22.5 cm. Height: 3 cm. Some small chips on the edge + one larger chip partially visible from the front (see photos). Normal wear and scratches for an 18th-century piece. Fine 3.5 cm hairline crack on the edge (barely visible, stable). The patina and small imperfections give it all its authentic charm. Ideal collector's piece for enthusiasts of antique porcelain, suitable for display or exhibition.
