The iconic Wassily chair in original grey saddle leather, designed by Marcel Breuer around 1925 and manufactured by Gavina in Italy around 1960. This chair features a tubular structure in chrome-plated steel, remaining robust and retaining its original shine, showcasing Gavina's exceptional craftsmanship. The grey leather is enhanced with naturally tanned brown edges, characteristic of tanning processes prior to the 1970s. Later versions of the Wassily chair used chemically tanned leather with grey or black edges. This model bears Marcel Breuer's signature stamped on the leather. It is in remarkable original condition.
