Giovanni Banci (1942-1999) for Hermès. Elegant neoclassical coffee table made in Italy around 1970 for Hermès. Rectangular structure in gilded lacquered metal resting on four legs, joined by a remarkable X-shaped stretcher adorned in its centre with a ring and elements reminiscent of a horse's bit, referencing the equestrian world emblematic of the Hermès brand. Transparent glass top set into the structure. Very beautiful decorative presence and a sought-after model of furniture made by Giovanni Banci for Hermès in the 1970s. Dimensions: Length: 120 cm.
