Anvia style minimalistic table lamp Mid-Century The Netherlands 1950

Refined table lamp in the style of Anvia produced in The Netherlands circa 1950. It reflects the minimalist and architectural spirit characteristic of Dutch mid-century lighting design. Executed in white lacquered metal, the lamp’s structure is defined by clean geometric lines and a precise, folded-sheet construction. The sharply angled shade and open triangular base create a striking sense of balance, while the lamp’s proportions give it a sculptural yet functional presence. The light is softly directed downward, making it ideal for use as a desk or reading lamp, while its minimal silhouette allows it to complement both modern and vintage interiors. In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age, this lamp is an excellent example of mid-century Dutch design; simple, functional and elegantly constructed in the spirit of Anvia and designers such as J.J.M. Hoogervorst.
