Bench made of solid pine from the La Rive residence in Arc 1600, built in the early 1970s. The design of this building was entrusted to architect Bernard Taillefer, who collaborated with Charlotte Perriand to develop the interior architecture and integrated furniture of the residence. Through its deliberately stripped-down construction, this bench illustrates the pursuit of simplicity, functionality, and durability that characterises the designs created for the resort. Made of solid pine, it consists of two thick planks forming the seat, resting on two solid bases. Its understated proportions and robust construction make it a representative example of the furniture developed for the residences in Les Arcs. Provenance: La Rive residence, Arc 1600, Savoie, France.
