Adjustable suspension Space age dlg Harvey Guzzini, Italy circa 1970

Splendid adjustable suspension lamp known as "Monte et baisse" from around 1970. Design in the style of Harvey Guzzini's productions, completely in the Space Age spirit of that era. The dome-shaped diffuser (36 cm diameter and 24 cm height) is made of acrylic in a beautiful gradient from ecru to brown with a white inner face. The gallery (13 cm diameter and 10 cm height) features an alternating pattern of chrome metal discs and satin white cylinders. The black wire allows for height adjustment of the light fixture from 70 to 150 cm using a Rolly reel and by pulling the handle located in the dome. Finally, the black plastic ceiling rose measures 7 cm in diameter and 10 cm in height. In perfect condition, with no cracks, scratches, or discolouration, this very beautiful suspension lamp will add a 70s touch and its soft light is ideally suited above a dining table or in a kitchen above an island. Those Italians are impressive!!!
