Adjustable Kon-Tiki armchair in pine by Gillis Lundgren for Ikea 70 80

Adjustable armchair model "Kon-Tiki" by Gillis Lundgren for IKEA, 1970s/1980s edition. This model consists of a solid pine frame and a ratchet reclining system. It is the variant with rectangular crosspieces with rounded edges. Regarding the dimensions, the width is 70 cm and the maximum length is 100 cm. The height varies from 78 to 96 cm depending on the chosen reclining position. For the structure, the pine frame is stable and the adjustment mechanism works. The wood shows normal wear patina related to its age but has no breaks, no weaknesses, and is solid. For the original cushion, the fabric and padding are in very good condition. There are no tears and all original fastening buttons are present. In terms of hygiene, the armchair is stored in a healthy environment and has no odour. However, it should be noted: the original fabric, in a light colour, shows common signs of use. A cleaning of the textile is to be expected.
