Pair of Empire style wall sconces with swans from Petitot - bronze & bordeaux patina.

Superb pair of two-light wall sconces, in Empire style, from the famous French manufacturer Petitot. Made in the second half of the 20th century. Crafted from bronze. Original gilding, in very good condition with some slight signs of wear. The original patina, in burgundy colour, is in perfect condition; this colour is rarer on this model of sconce. The light arms are swans with outstretched wings. The wall part is decorated with palmettes. Electricity installed and tested (for E14 bulb). New cardboard candles.
