Oxford office chair – Poltrona Frau – tufted leather – Italy, circa 1990. Superb Oxford executive chair by Poltrona Frau, an iconic model of Italian design, made in Italy circa 1990. An exceptional piece with a strong character, inspired by the grand English executive chairs of the early 20th century. Its classic silhouette is enhanced by richly hand-tufted Pelle Frau® leather, a signature of the craftsmanship and finishing level of the Poltrona Frau brand. The chair rests on an elegant five-legged base in stained walnut wood, with a swivelling and adjustable mechanism, offering both comfort and ergonomics. A particularly elegant and timeless piece, ideal for a boardroom, a library, or a contemporary interior seeking a strong vintage piece. Condition: very good overall condition for its age, with a beautiful patina on the leather. As with all our vintage pieces, this chair has been cleaned and maintained in our Maison Louis 24 workshops using natural products and in an eco-responsible approach.
