Rare, very beautiful covered vase or jar of glazed Persian pottery, Iznik, turquoise entirely hand-painted with traditional floral, plant and geometric motifs, black. Vintage year 50-60. Unsigned. Relatively large, baluster shape, rounded body, small round foot, high slightly flared neck, small lid with high knob. Beautiful work, fine decoration, beautiful glaze. 35cm total height, approximately 17cm max diameter. Very good condition, some natural cracks in the glaze, superficial and discreet, some small discreet manufacturing defects, a small restoration on the lid very discreet, see photos. Approximately 1, 200kg.
