This piece of artisanal craftsmanship is characterised by a multitude of small air bubbles harmoniously trapped within the thickness of the glass (bubble glass technique). Its full and generous handle has been superbly stretched and applied hot by the master glassmaker. The contrast of transparency is striking when backlit, revealing sumptuous magenta and purple glints. Very robust with its thick walls and heavy base, which provide excellent stability, this jug embodies the pure style of creations from the famous Verrerie de Biot or Mid-Century glass art. It can be used daily for your drinks or repurposed as an exceptional vase for your flower bouquets. Excellent vintage condition.
