Barong is a prominent figure in traditional balinese dances, where it engages in a dramatic performance against the evil witch rangda. Condition report: both masks have dents & scruffs, nice patina. Green mask: Missing part of the right ear. Hole drilled near the top. Red mask: part has been repaired near the top where someone had drilled a hole.
