Art Deco cocktail armchair – Ocean liner style – 1930s. Very pretty cabriolet armchair in Art Deco style, in the spirit of 1930s ocean liner furniture and Ruhlmann's creations. It features an elegant enveloping silhouette, with a rounded backrest extending into armrests, a generously padded seat, and small dark wood fluted legs. It is dressed in a lovely fabric with stylised floral patterns, in pastel shades of powder pink, almond green, pale yellow, and greyish blue. A traditional nailhead trim harmoniously highlights the curves of the armchair. CONDITION: Good vintage condition, with some signs of use on the fabric, a slight patina on the wood, and nailheads.
