Vintage children's desk in solid oak and red formica, 50s/60s

There's nothing like a little vintage and colorful desk to make parents' lives easier when it's time for homework! With its tomato red formica top and its two drawers which will accommodate pens, erasers, double decimeter and other treasures, this is a model as fun as it is practical which will look great in the children's room and will accompany them from primary school to the beginning of college. Made entirely of solid oak in the 50s/60s, it is a heavy and robust piece of furniture that has proven itself, ideal for hard workers and those who are angry; -) we love its unique design which mixes raw wood and red and black formica, as well as its rounded corners which give it a lot of softness. You don't have children. This desk will be your best ally in an entryway where it can act as a console, accompanied by a designer lamp and a colorful painting. This desk is offered to you in its original state and has numerous traces of use. The oak structure is in very good general condition and has a lovely patina. Only a few traces of white paint should be noted. The formica covering suffered more. Part of the field is missing at one of the corners of the small left drawer, and the interior of the latter is stained. The top, for its part, shows multiple signs of use, namely areas of discoloration, dents, scratches (superficial and deep), blisters or white marks. Formica is a solid material which nevertheless remains in good condition and offers a pleasant and fully functional work surface.
