Glass Vase, "Cartoccio" model by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte

Transparent vase in textured glass, Cartoccio model, designed by the Italian designer Pietro Chiesa in 1932 for the Fontana Arte company, which still produces this vase today. This piece dates back to the 1950s. The manual manufacturing gives it an exceptional wavy shape of a pleated paper bag (cartoccio = paper bag). This makes each piece unique. We of course love its shape and the possibility of putting different kinds of flowers in each of the “compartments”. Unique design! It will be packaged in its original “Fontana Arte” box.
