Magnificent Italian living room set from the 1980s signed by Poltrona Frau, consisting of a sofa and an armchair in full-grain buffalo leather in an elegant ecru shade. A piece with a decidedly contemporary character, whose generous and enveloping lines evoke the spirit of the famous Maralunga by Vico Magistretti, while maintaining its own personality and a particularly sculptural silhouette. We especially love its generously padded armrests wrapped in leather, which feature a system that allows for slight adjustments in their position, as well as its adjustable headrests designed to offer different positions and remarkable comfort. The very generous volume of the leather, the soft lines, and the numerous natural folds of the material give it that typically Italian aesthetic of the 1980s: comfortable, sophisticated, and surprisingly current. The set integrates easily into a contemporary, minimalist, or mid-century interior as well as into a more eclectic decor. A true statement piece, both design-oriented, comfortable, and timeless. The set has been fully cleaned, nourished, renovated, and prepared in the workshops of Maison Louis 24, in a commitment to eco-responsible and circular restoration. A very beautiful piece of vintage Italian design, rare in this condition, that will find its place in both a private interior and in an architecture or decoration project.
