8 French earthenware dinner plates (Gien Sarreguemines Digoin Moulin des Loups Orchies)

Set of 8 mismatched flat plates in vintage blue & white earthenware. All the plates in this set are made of fine french earthenware of the opaque porcelain type and are decorated with floral motifs, applied with a stencil, in blue on a creamy white background. The whole thing is in good condition (no major accidents, relatively few traces of use): the few defects are indicated below and detailed in the photos. This set includes: (2) gien “tulipe” plates (one chip on edge); (2) “canebière” plates from sarreguemines and digoin (a tiny break in the enamel on the edge); (1) “camille” plate from sarreguemines and digoin (a few scratches from use, a bump on the edge); (1) unsigned plate (a roughness in the under-glaze material, a small haloed dot and a few light scratches); (2) "edmond" plates from moulin des loups orchies / st amand (a small molding defect under the enamel on the reverse under the edge). Diameter 22 to 22.5 cm.
