Set of 8 vintage mismatched flat plates made of ironstone, brought together for their unity of material, size, and spirit, despite the diversity of designs. Stylised floral patterns, graphic friezes, naive compositions, or more classic styles: each plate has its own personality while harmoniously interacting with the others. The ironstone, typical of French productions from the 1950s–1960s, offers a lovely presence in hand, a warm ivory whiteness, and excellent durability over time. Diameter ranges from 17 cm to 20.5 cm. This set includes pieces from major French manufacturers — HBCM, Saint-Amand, Sarreguemines, and Keller & Guérin Lunéville — iconic signatures of carefully crafted everyday tableware produced with high standards in the mid-20th century. In good vintage condition, shiny, with micro-scratches from use, and minor chips on the edges; one plate has a chip underneath on the rim (see photos). An ideal set for a unique and warm table where the mix of patterns reveals a natural elegance, both timeless and very contemporary.
