The original artisanal welds attest to a manufacture from the early 20th century, long before industrial standardisation. The potentially hazardous original lead paint has been completely removed during restoration. The weight of the solid, full iron confirms a quality that is no longer found in current reproductions. A photo of its original state is included to verify its authenticity. The corolla-shaped backrest and curved legs, typical of Napoleon III furniture, give it an elegance that transcends trends.
