6 Hofmann Bielitz chairs (Model No. 18, period 1900-1915)

Rare set of antique bentwood chairs, branded with a red iron stamp by the Josef Hofmann factory, a historic Austro-Hungarian house renowned for its craftsmanship in bent wood furniture, in the style of Thonet. Highlights: Original seats decorated: stunning floral patterns and scrolls engraved in the thermoformed wood, still clearly visible. Authentic markings: stamp "Hofmann Bielitz Austria" under the frame and number 18 under the seat (see photos). Natural wood: beautiful colour and charming old patina. Condition: Chairs are sound, stable, and perfectly functional. The old wood has retained its natural patina. A simple maintenance with beeswax will nourish the beech and enhance the engravings on the seats. Dimensions: H 93 × W 45 × D 50 cm. Timeless charm! These chairs will bring an authentic touch of Viennese bistro style and a retro spirit full of character to a kitchen, dining room, or around a beautiful antique table.
