Coffee cups and plates Poterie de La Colombe tachist stoneware 50/60

This old enameled stoneware coffee service, with 4 cups and 4 saucers, comes from the workshop of the dove, madeleine brault, signed by her hand on the back or by the emblematic bird. The decor has “black spots” because the pieces of this pottery have been well known for more than 50 years for the aesthetics of the “tachist” stoneware or abstract patterns which make it unique. This production, now discontinued, has often been associated with vallauris, because that is where it was widely sold although produced in orriule in the pyrénées atlantiques. This vintage service is in beautiful perfect condition, just one or two hairs in a saucer and a cup almost like a cooking crack (see photos). Dimensions: cups 11x7x7/saucers 15 cm.
