Rare service of 6 old table plates in marian blue, pale blue monogrammed m (and maybe another letter) from a castle in the dauphiné. Period second half XIX. English manufacturer brown westhead moore & co specialized in the production of services including many pieces for castles or hostelry. The factory also offered the possibility of personalizing the tableware with the cipher, coat of arms, motto, of its noble purchasers. Distributed in France by m chanut 35 rue tronchet paris.
