A great crush for these bedside tables straight from Glasgow. These nightstands carry the heritage of A. Gardner & Son, renowned cabinetmakers since 1832. An immobile journey between British craftsmanship and the purity of early 20th-century lines. Made of solid oak and blonde oak veneer, these pieces stand out for their architectural and minimalist silhouette. We love their recessed base that seems to make them float above the ground, and their open niche topped with a solid door featuring graphic veining. The solid wood handles, carved from the mass, highlight a concern for detail characteristic of high-quality Scottish craftsmanship. Their honey hue and authentic patina will bring immediate warmth to a bedroom. Circa 1930-1940, these bedside tables remain in very good condition with a measured patina and a few scattered marks. One of the tables has a white enamel plaque attesting to its origin. Height with cornice 80cm. Between the rigour of Art Deco and the softness of modernism, they will fit well in both contemporary interiors and more classic, subdued atmospheres.
