Superb and large modernist art ceramic vase from the 1950s-1960s, originating from the famous Poterie du Brusc (Six-Fours-les-Plages, Var) and signed by the ceramist Balma underneath the base. This organic model, shaped like a corolla or flared leaf, stands out for its remarkable work of poured and flamed glazes. The glaze, with exceptional brilliance, offers beautiful contrasting shades of malachite green, intense cobalt blue, and earthy brown, resting on a dark green circular base. A centrepiece with a very pronounced "Mid-Century" aesthetic, perfect for adding a touch of character and colour to a Scandinavian sideboard or a living room table. Condition: The vase is in superb overall condition. The glaze has retained all its original shine and brilliance.
