Pair of Art Nouveau vases by Gustave de Bruyn – Fives-Lille – iris decoration – 30 cm

Very beautiful pair of antique vases in faience from the Faïencerie de Fives-Lille, manufactured by Gustave de Bruyn, Art Nouveau period, around 1900. Elegant elongated shape with two handles, featuring a superb floral decoration of irises and foliage on a shaded green and cream background. The reliefs on the neck and base, along with the small golden touches, add a lot of charm. The two vases bear the stamp Faïencerie Fives-Lille – G.D.B. Under the base, as well as various references and marks in relief. A lovely collectible piece representative of Gustave de Bruyn's Art Nouveau production in Fives-Lille, ideal for an antique, floral, or Art Nouveau decor. In antique condition with several defects to note: small chips, missing glaze, and minor cracks, visible in the photos.
