Set of 4 caned chairs Arcadia by Tagliabue di Cascina Armata, 1970-80.

Superb set of modernist Italian chairs produced by Tagliabue di Cascina Armata, a small Italian publisher active in the 1970s–80s. An iconic sculptural model, these chairs are distinguished by their arched backrest, creating an elegant continuity with the rear legs. A design that is both graphic and organic, typical of Italian modernism. Wooden structure with original cane seating, preserved and perfectly usable as is, although it shows signs of wear consistent with age (see photos). The chairs are stable, sturdy, and have a beautiful patina. Condition: Very good vintage condition with slight signs of age consistent with time. Note: one of the chairs has a fragility in the cane and a superficial crack in the frame (see photo) which does not affect the stability of the structure. The chairs are stable and solid. Dimensions: Width: 46 cm, Depth: 50 cm, Height: 81 cm, Seat height: 46 cm. Price indicated for the set of 4 chairs.
