This rare coffee table, designed and manufactured in France in the 1960s, is clearly inspired by the T18 coffee table by master designer Pierre Chapo. T18s were generally made with a lava stone or ceramic tile top, and this one is made of smoked glass. The corners are beautifully joined, and the elm wood displays a beautiful natural grain. Some moisture stains and a small chip missing from one of the legs, but in good condition. An unknown maker's mark is engraved on the underside of the frame. This piece comes from a mountain chalet in Haute-Savoie.
