Ancient royal Worcester vase England 19th century

Porcelain vase from the prestigious English manufacturer Royal Worcester, bearing its original mark under the base. It features a refined silhouette with a narrow neck, enhanced by two openwork handles accented with gilding. Its Japonisme decoration, very representative of the taste of the late 19th century, depicts a crane among papyrus, delicately executed in polychrome and highlighted with gold on a finely speckled ivory white background. This piece retains a very beautiful decorative presence despite some flaws related to its age: one handle shows wear to the gilding, the body has an old hairline crack or an old restoration (see photographs), as well as two small chips at the ends of the foot. The neck, on the other hand, is in good condition, without chips, and the vase remains perfectly stable. Despite these flaws, this vase retains all its decorative interest and remains a fine example of the productions of the Royal Worcester factory from the late 19th century.
